Using advanced pumping mechanisms, this intriguing suit is able to recycle both vapor moisture from the body, sweat, even the feces have their water recycled. If you are wearing a Fremen made true stillsuit, then you could survive in the open desert for several days without any water--that is if you where the stillsuit hood, use the nose plugs, and fasten your catchtube tightly (a catchtube is a thin tube by the face which allows the wearer to drink the water that the stillsuit has recycled). However, if you are careless in your preparations, you may very well die for your mistakes because the Arrakis deserts are most unforgiving and are hard enough to survive in when one is entirely cautious with his or her water supply.
